Made In London

And overview of the James Patrick candle delivery box, with company logo on the top

I got talking to James via Instagram after stumbling across his lovely and minimalist candle designs. I looked closer to find a brand that is all handcrafted in London and who’s items are made to order, which gives you something truly special. You’ll see no mass production from James. His company values are another brilliant thing to mention too, as this is what sold the brand to me even further. ✌🏼

Do you guys love yourself a candle? 🕯 I love myself a candle, sometimes I just collect them and add them to my growing haul in my cupboard. But the best feeling is lighting a candle after a long day, or lazy morning and letting a tranquil blanket sweep over the room. A still calmness resonates and its more enjoyable right? Anyone else agree?

Lets jump straight into what is so bloody cool about James Patrick candles and why everyone should experience them! 🖤

Unboxing the James Patrick Black Pomegranate candle with his Instagram page alongside it

Hello Gorgeous!

I’ve been enjoying this ‘Black Pomegranate‘ candle and why is it this crazy how good the aromas given off are, it is such a shame I cant share it through the blog post itself. Like a scratch and sniff this tab! [Maybe that is a million pound idea there…]

If anyone has bought and used a paraffin wax candle before, you’ll know of how little the scent fills and travels around the room. Going nose-blind is normal as you get used to aromas, but I feel like I’ve wasted time and money in a product I am not enjoying. This is what I love about James Patrick candles, its the complete and absolute opposite. Since lighting mine even for short bursts, the air is rich with the scent and even after being blown out too it lingers. You can really appreciate the essential oils that wonder through the air. I think more companies should be taking the steps towards how to product candles properly, just like James has been doing himself. And why should be buy into these cheaper made paraffin candles too, yeah it seems like a great choice, but at the end of the day is it even worth it? Educating myself reading about James Patrick has opened my eyes a little more to what is truly better for you and the planet aswell.

The ‘Black Pomegranate‘ candle is exotic, fruity and dark. I would say, that’s just like me, but who am I kidding! Its a bold and sensual aroma and reminds me of a perfume Jacob wore when we first started dating. It was intoxicating and enigmatic, just as this candle is. The ‘Black Pomegranate‘ candle is a mixture of:

  • Juicy Pomegranate
  • Casablanca Lily
  • Pink Pepper
  • Patchouli
  • Guaiacwood
