Outfit – Queer Chelsea – Uniqlo/Topman

Hey babes, I have a fashion post up on the blog today. I’ll show you what I wore below.

The outfit was what I wore during last weeks heatwave that has taken England like wildfire. I had to go visit my mum and dad at the Royal Marsden Hospital (London) near South Kensington.

I don’t own many smart shorts or shoes for that matter. So, come the summer I’ve struggled putting together anything I thought was nice. I did however ask my best friend Will, to whom was visiting me and meeting my mum and dad, to take a shot since the area around the hospital was so pretty. I found a nice pink painted brick wall and he took a shot. It’s been ages since I’ve taken any fashion shots so was nice to get one created for my blog.

So, the flowers were for mum, but we ran them down with dad to the car, so I borrowed them for a photo or two. Sunflowers and peonies, ❤ which sadly missed being in the shot. Next time for sure!

The whole outfit was thrown together in the morning quickly, because I was travelling all over London in the heat, on the Central Line in the London Underground. No thanks. Too hot!

I just wanted something casual, a little smart, but comfortable for summer heat. After the photos were taken I thought, “actually I do look cute today”. The morning had me feeling a little anxious and as the day went on I felt more confident after seeing these shots of myself. I know it sounds a little vain to say that, but I felt cute and was excited to post this shot on the blog. You can also find it on my Instagram grid too.
