Thought I’d share another outfit post, from when I was in Corfu, Greece last year. This look, a little darker than my previous one featured.
I was inspired by the term ‘nomad’, which translates too: wonderer <3
Somebody that continuously travels, in search. I’ve always had that term fixated in my mind, as I feel I can relate to it on some levels. I love that idea of being free, adrift and always exploring new things.
The term nomad gives me this image of loose fabric, usually coiled around a body. A hood or brimmed hat and the entire ensemble, being comfortable and breathable. Imagine what you’d wear, to travel across a blazing desert. A triangular silhouette, caught traversing the environment.
– Outfit –
Black Fedora Hat – Allsaints
Oversized Acid Wash Jersey Kimono – ASOS
Reclaimed Vintage Chiffon Shirt In Floral Print – ASOS
AJ Morgan Square Sunglasses In Grey Wood – ASOS
Tailored Wool Pants – Allsaints
Black Sandals – Topman
I actually didn’t plan this look at all. I was just experimenting and trying to create an outfit. I quite like the dark overall look, with that splash of pattern. I think it gives, quite a punchy look. (I apologise for the model who is looking rather moody!)
I’m looing forward to evolving my nomad style, with future outfits.
Thanks a lot for checking out this post and reading too. Any questions? Hit me up in the comments, over Instagram or Twitter.
