Upgrade & Blogging Job
As some regulars might notice my blog look has changed! I’ve given it a little facelift due to the fact I’ve been asked to write an article a week for Instichu.com. The Aussie company tweeted me regarding my material saying how much they liked my content and word of mouth. I really appreciate this opportunity and look forward to helping them out in any way I can!! The company deals in menswear and custom tailoring for business and casual. Currently breaking into the UK market!
Promotion at work
Right so I have had a gripping few weeks! I received my second promotion at Caffè Nero! Shift leader now which means I’m in charge on certain days! Scary right!! Two more promotions and I’m ready to store transfer to a London branch!! Stepping closer to my overall dream.
Photos in the woods
My mum and I went out a few weeks back to this wood where beech trees stood! Apart from not knowing my plants I do know that it was beautiful there. Tall trees stood like black sentinels and the ground was laced with autumn coloured leaves. It was extremely quiet and had this ominous yet content atmosphere.
I like my look for the outing, all very country inspired.
Helping the mother getting bails of straw and hay so farm shots were taken!
Items arrived back in OCT so mini review to be blogged about after this post. Great company for contemporary mens underwear based entirely in Australia and all products are proudly made in Aussie!
To just show the drink I had out with friends! How great are Mojito’s.
I visited London two days ago to meet up with my uni friends. From left to right: Cat, Georgie, myself, Dom & Boris and Jess taking the photo!
We met up outside of Hyde Park for Winter Wonderland! Never been before so wasn’t sure what to expect! Pictures below of my day!
From Hyde Park went to Harrods which again I have never visted! It was so big inside and so clean and expensive! I showered in the morning and walking through I felt so grubby!!! The food court was my favourite section, so pretty!
After Harrods we decided food and headed to TGI Fridays yes it’s quite a step from £55 caviar to £14.99 glazed chicken and fries with cola too… At this point my feet were rather sore, you know the drill, new shoes, leather ones too and breaking them in is painful!
Jess is now here pictured left!
Afterwards we headed to Covent garden for some Christmas magic and to Long Acre street Caffè Nero for hot chocolates on me! After walking around and buying a few gifts we all departed back to our homes. I miss the gang already and looking forward to our next meet up.
My purchases included macaroons in which as a tradition for myself each visit to London is to head to Paul’s bakery next to Covent garden for a 12 packet of them!
I just love London and cannot wait to be a designer there living in the city!! I know it I’d far off but I’m already making progress! The buildings too are just breathtaking! The details in this city make it stand out from other cities around the globe!
I only bought a small few items, we didn’t have time to go to any high street stores and also sadly this point in my life Harrods was a little out of my budget…
Anyway maybe one day i’ll be able to enjoy it!
In Covent Garden you usually get people playing music, in fact all over London you do, well I came across this old Chinese man who was sitting alone. But this music captured my attention! It was wonderful, atmospheric and just so pure sounding. I don’t usually buy busker’s cd’s correct me if my terminology is incorrect. But I wanted to hear more!! The Peeking Brothers was the group.
Next was my splurge in Whittard of Chelsea. Well not very big, its odd I had plenty of money from over time but didn’t want to spend it… I bought myself a tea leaf strainer along with some Earl Grey tea leaves. And for my father for Christmas two packets of strong coffee beans as he appreciates proper coffee!!
Now I said earlier about my macaroon purchase and below is the photo! I have already enjoyed the the first half!
Absolutely worth £9 a box
When I got home my CD I had ordered on Amazon arrived. Winterplay is a Japanese jazz singer with a silky voice! YouTube her now!
Also finally got around to buying fairy lights for my room for all year around! #callmeahipster
I’ve wanted lights for ages and need to put more hooks in ceiling to create a star effect. Sadly the already glow in the dark stars on my ceiling need a little help!
Well coming in for the close and got most of the big chunk of news out of the way!!
In was write too its afternoon now! Have yourselves a great evening guys and many thanks for reading and support! I’ve overcome my first thousand hits, so here is to many more thousands!!
